The Nordic organ-on-a-Chip Network

was founded in 2018 with the aim of enhancing collaboration and knowledge exchange in the Nordic organ-on-a-chip arena.

The network includes research groups from all five Nordic countries and we are working towards Nordic industry participation. At current, the network includes more than 20 research groups.

Our activities comprise scientific meetings with PhD and postdoctoral researcher gatherings, collaborative research funding applications and researcher exchanges between the participating laboratories.

The network has a flat organization where the chair rotates among the Nordic countries. In 2021, Sweden is the host of the network.
